Zoom WLM-1 Wireless Mic Capsule Preview

In this video, I preview the upcoming Zoom WLM-1 wireless mic capsule for the H6essential and H5Studio. The Zoom WLM-1 is part of the 3.0 capsule series for the updated 32-bit recorders from Zoom. The WLM-1 comes with 1 receiver, 2 transmitters (that have built-in mics and ports for lavalier mics), windscreens, USB cable for charging, and a carry case. The Zoom WLM-1 has built-in AI noise reduction that intelligently learns and filters out distracting background noise. Use indoor mode to reduce noise from air conditioners and appliances. Choose outdoor mode to reduce street and wind noise. The other unique feature of the WLM-1 is the rotating clip that allows you to easily angle the microphone for proper positioning with any kind of clothing. You're able to record all inputs separately, however as of the time of recording Zoom says that you can't dictate which signal gets output from the line out port to a camera. I have submitted this request to their product team and how they will consider implementing that feature. Having the ability to record all channels but create a specific routing mix for the line out would be fantastic. There is currently no price publicly available for the Zoom WLM-1, which makes me wonder just how much the WLM-1 will cost? My best guess would be a minimum of $300 USD and hopefully no more than $400 USD. The Zoom WLM-1 is set to launch in the summer of 2025. Companies typically release products in June so I'm hoping for a late June release (which would technically be the beginning of summer). I'm not sure they would promote it so soon if they weren't launching until August or September. What are your thoughts on the Zoom WLM-1? Is this a must-have product for your projects?
