Zoom Corp announced the PodTrak P4next audio interface. With four XLR inputs, 4 headphone outputs, 70dB of gain, AI noise reduction, tone, compression, mute buttons, bluetooth, TRRS, and USB. You can have up to 5 participants using a mix of XLR inputs, USB, and either TRRS or bluetooth. The PodTrak P4next launches in November for $179.99 in the United States. This is the refresh I have been waiting for, but it is 24-bit 48kHz and not 32-bit float like I anticipated. It records multitrak to a micro SD card (card size up to 2 TB). The device also has 4 sound pads! This is the cheaper small format device I've been asking for since the launch of the RODECaster Duo. The price point is simply more budget friendly than the other options. Find out more about the PodTrak P4next at Zoom Corp's official website. https://zoomcorp.com/en/us/podtrak-recorders/podcast-recorders/podtrak-p4next/
