Hank here with my thoughts on this budget Handy Recorder Hard Travel Case (this particular case is from Aenllosi but there are numerous different companies selling this exact same product. The case claims to fit the H5studio, H6studio, and H6essential. BUY ZOOM’S OFFICIAL CASE: https://amzn.to/4ntz6Pf BUY THIS CASE: https://amzn.to/4mbgJgM *affiliate links* PRICE: $19.99 USD. BUILD: The case is made of tightly woven fabric encompassing plastic and feels very sturdy and well constructed. It also claims to be lightly waterproof, dropproof, crushproof, and scratch proof. Plus, the photoshopped images make it appear that the H6essential fits snuggly inside. LAYOUT: Double Zipper Elastic Mesh Pocket Elastic Band PROS: The case is pretty solid. I like the carry handle. I appreciate that it has a mesh pocket. I also like the “lightly” waterproof nature of the case. CONS: The size causes the H6essential to slide regardless of whether the capsule is on or off. The mesh pocket doesn’t come up very high and allows items to come out over the top and rest on the H6essential. I wish the elastic band was higher up and tighter. OVERALL: Once I finally got around to reviewing this budget hard case, I wished I would have bought Zoom’s APH-6e H6essential Accessory Pack. This was a lesson that oftentimes you get what you pay for. I obviously don’t recommend this case due to the glaring issue that essentially nullifies the usefulness of the product (for that particular use). 00:00 H6essential Hard Travel Case Intro 00:28 H6essential Hard Travel Case Price 00:35 Build 00:45 Waterproof - Dropproof - Crushproof - Scratchproof 01:00 Layout 01:13 Pros 01:42 Cons 02:40 Overall Thoughts
