If you're on the hunt for a super cheap podcast or live stream mic, check out MOVO's VSM-7 that I purchased on Amazon from a mic refurbish reseller. The MOVO VSM-7 has a solid build including a strong grille and good weight. While the sound won't blow you away, the mic does sound good enough to recommend for podcasting, live streaming, and more. The VSM-7 leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to accessories. The included shock mount and pop filter and underwhelming. The cheap knobs and button wobble detract from the overall quality of the microphone because they seem to be an afterthought. The switch placement is a miss as well. While inside the shock mount the switches take a lot of effort to get to. Overall there are better options in the SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE CATEGORY, but for $32.43 this is a no-brainer purchase for the budding podcaster or live streamer.
