The device has a lightweight build but has very sturdy knobs. There are ports galore on the Strich audio interface however they aren't exactly the ports you'd want for podcasting. The device is truly portable as it has a rechargeable battery inside. You get approximately 5 hours of use on a 3-hour full charge. The Strich audio interface struggles in the preamp department. The microphone preamp caps out at just 30dB of gain. There's also a permanent noise gate on the device that hampers sound quality. During this review I give Strich Audio a few ideas for improving the device in the future.
