Samson Q9X vs Zoom ZDM 1 - Microphone Comparison

#microphonereview In this video I compare the Samson Q9X with the Zoom ZDM-1 microphone. I recently reviewed the Samson q9x microphone and found it to be a really nice alternative to the Shure SM7B. However, does the $129.99 price vs the $79.99 and sometimes $49.99 price point of the Zoom ZDM-1 create too much of a price to performance gap? What are you thoughts on the comparison? I've heard people say the Samson Q9X sounds muddy compared to other dynamic microphones. Is that warm sound something that turns certain people off?
