The CastMic comes with an XLR cable, 3 colored pop filters, and documentation. Movo offers and impressive two-year warranty with the purchase of the CastMic. I found the CastMic to be really good at mitigating plosives plus its off-axis and rear rejection performed well. The sound is extremely neutral (flat) and the frequency response graph confirms it. The $79.95 USD price will be a hurdle for some as there are several sub $50 microphones available that perform as well or better. There's also a strange concern around the XLR connection. None of the XLR cables I used were able to insert all the way and lock inside. Don't think that the XLR cable is going to fall our or anything like that. It's definitely connected and not coming out, but it's odd that it won't lock. I compared the CastMic to the SM7B not as a one-to-one comparison, but in order to give a point of reference for its sound. What are your thoughts on the Movo CastMic?
