In this video I review the AKG P120 condenser microphone. Where does the P120 stand in the best budget microphone category? The field of mics under $100 is extremely crowded. AMAZON AFFILIATE LINK: https://amzn.to/4b8SiuW ZZOUNDS AFFILIATE LINK: https://www.zzounds.com/a--3910612/item--AKGP120?siid=170392 When it comes to the build quality of the AKG P120 the microphone is essentially flawless. The all metal body, heft, grille, accessories and switches are made of the highest quality. Sound wise the AKG P120 sounds smooth without any harshness or low end muddiness. Will the sound blow you away? No. But it definitely won't distract you either. The sound profile is tailor-made for post processing in my opinion. Like other microphones on the market you can get a sound you desire with or without using post processing plugins. For the price it's hard to beat the tried-and-true quality of the AKG P120. In future videos I will compare it to other budget condensers on the market. Probably a $200 or less competition once I acquire another mic or two.
