512 Audio Skylight Review - Budget Condenser Microphone

With the exception of the included "custom" pop filter, this microphone's style is excellent. The included shock mount is one of the highest-quality ones I've used. The weight of the microphone and shock mount signal a stellar build. The sound is smooth and pleasing to my ears. Please let me know what you think of the overall sound quality. Adding a little bit of processing tightens up an already finished-sounding microphone. I do a quick comparison to the Shure SM7B. How does the Skylight stack up? The specs are missing the microphone's self-noise. The readily available pop-filter is also a slight nitpick. A bit more style in the design of the pop-filter would have gone a long way to solidify an already slick piece of gear. What do you think about the mic's sound?
