5 TRRS Port Uses - RODECaster Duo

The readdition of the TRRS port in the RODE line had podcasters excited. However, it appeared that the port could not be used with cell phones. Even RODE's support team said that the only way to connect a phone to the RODECaster Duo was either Bluetooth and USB2. Many of us who are connected to two PC's don't want to keep hooking and unhooking USB ports for various uses. In this video I share a test I did using an Android phone, a trs female to USB C cable, and RODE's SC7 cable (TRS to TRRS). But using a phone with the RODECaster Duo is simply one of the many ways you can use the TRRS port on the device. Other uses include plugging in a gaming headset, connecting wireless microphones, using your headphones, or adding a third microphone to your RODECaster Duo. Expanding your Duo's functionality is why the TRRS port is so valuable.
