I love casting and retrieving spoons and spinners for coho salmon in rivers because the most aggressive fish would chase and bite the lure right away. It isn't just casting and retrieving a lure, but there are certain things you can do, including cast angle, retrieve speed, lure choice, to improve your chance of catching that big silver coho salmon. In the first half of video, I show you which parts of the river I'd like to target them with lures. In the second half, I take a look at different spoons and spinners, and when and where I would use them.
