Jigheads are weighted fishing hooks/lures and they come in many different sizes and styles. They are great, basic lures for beginners but also heavily used by experienced fishermen. Some jigs are meant to add vibration, some add color or resemble the face of a baitfish, some allow you to present your bait a certain way, and some just add weight for more casting distance. The jighead is one of the simplest fishing lures and you can add a variety of soft plastic baits to them like grubs, plastic worms, swimbaits, paddletail minnows, or craw/crayfish baits.
