OUR CHRISTMAS EVE 2025 | THE FLU | DIDN'T GO AS PLANNED Christmas Eve 2025 didn’t go at all how we planned. This was supposed to be a cozy family night, but real life had other plans. My oldest, Kayla, ended up getting really sick and tested positive for Flu A. Because of that — and with the grandbabies also getting sick and running fevers — we couldn’t go to her house or celebrate together like we normally do. It was heartbreaking missing time with them. Even though things didn’t turn out the way we expected, we still made the most of Christmas Eve at home. Sometimes the holidays are messy, emotional, and far from perfect, but we do our best to focus on what matters most — family and health.
