Hi everybody! I’m Cass (and that right there is Oadie), and in this video I’m trying on the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil in the shade Serenity (Warm Rose). This is actually my second time testing this formula—I tried another shade before (Wonder), liked it, and that’s what made me go ahead and grab Serenity from Sephora during a past order. I share the product claims straight from the site (it starts glossy, then turns into a lightweight tinted oil, comfy, never sticky, and meant to be layered), plus the details like cruelty-free, vegan, dermatologist tested, and paraben-free. I do a quick swatch and then apply it on my lips so you can see the color in real time. On me, Serenity pulled a little more brown and a little deeper than I expected, but it still came out as a really pretty neutral that I feel looks nice. You can also see how it wears after I film a bunch more videos—so we’re talking a real-life wear check, not just a fresh application. It stayed comfortable, looked good, and I only did a quick touch-up at the end. It retails for $24, and for how nice it wears and feels, I personally think it’s well worth it.
