Hi everybody—I'm Cass, and that right there is Oadie, and today we’re getting into last month’s empties… aka our trash that we used up. We actually finished a pretty good pile, and I’m giving you my honest “would I repurchase?” speed reviews as we go. This one is very us: a mix of Ipsy skincare, Target basics, and a couple of those random thrifty finds (like Oadie’s Revlon ColorSilk hair dye that we somehow found at Burlington for $3.99… the only one there!). We talk through what was actually worth it and what is a hard no—like the Elemis Pro-Collagen Black Cherry Cleansing Balm travel size that’s “worth $19”… no, no, no. I’d rather go to Burlington and get multiple cleansers for that. I also share what I liked enough to keep in rotation, like my Olay Gentle Foaming Cleanser (I literally already have a second one by the sink), plus a few body and hair staples. And yes, we get a little TMI with supplements and probiotics, because that’s real life on a budget. Also, my mascara was so dried out it was basically done-done… and the Glow Recipe avocado serum surprised me because it still had product left, so it’s going right back into skincare.
