About This Video

Poshmark changed the way we ship, and I wanted to hop on and talk through what that actually looks like in real life—especially if you (like me) still haven’t received the “free” Poshmark boxes yet. Shipping is now ground (Advantage Ground), not Priority, which means you can’t just grab the free USPS Priority boxes anymore without getting charged (and it can slow things down too). The good news: since the shipping price dropped from around $8 to around $6, I’ve noticed a real difference—my closet went from crickets to seven sales in 24 hours. In this video I package a few orders with you using only what I already have at home, because I’m not about to buy a bunch of boxes and cut into my profits. I reuse shipping boxes from anything that’s been delivered to me, and for smaller items I’ll bubble wrap, then add a plastic layer (even a clean takeout bag or garbage bag works) to protect from moisture, then “wrap” it like a present with packing material so it’s covered. I also share my little type-A tip: don’t tape over the barcode, but do tape over the numbers and address so they don’t wash away if the package gets wet. Cozy, practical, and very “create more, consume less.”
