In this Get Ready With Me, I’m getting bundled up for the Pumpkin Blaze (because everyone who’s gone before swears it’s absolutely freezing). I’m sharing my Halloween fairy outfit that I thrifted from Goodwill for $5—yes, five dollars—and I’m honestly planning to live in it all of October because it’s so comfy. I show you how I layer without ruining the vibe: 32 Degrees Heat pants, a “heat tech” pair, thigh-high socks, multiple thermal tops, a turtleneck, and boots… plus a jacket “just in case,” even though I really don’t want to. Then I bring you along for my Marshalls finds, which were very meant-to-be. I went in hunting for fairy oracle cards (because I basically made my own without realizing that’s what they were), and I ended up finding the only tarot deck there—right under the only Jane Austen collection sitting on the shelf. Obviously I took that as a sign. I also grabbed the cutest Halloween hand clips and a couple hair clips (Marshalls always gets me by the dressing room), and I chat about doing a future Jane Austen book club. Cozy, spooky, and a little magical—while still keeping it slow, intentional, and not over-consuming.
