We came back to our site after being away for about 10 days, and we were met with news we never expected to hear. It was heartbreaking and completely changed the tone of our day. It was one of those reminders that life can turn in an instant.

Why did you decide to share such a sad campground moment on your channel?

Because it’s a side of RV life people don’t always talk about. We share the adventures, DIY, and upgrades—but the reality is, the road has hard days too. We felt it was important to be honest about that.

Is RV life really that community-focused?

Yes, and it’s one of the things we love most about it. You meet wonderful people along the way, and it doesn’t take long before they feel like part of your extended family. Moments like this show how deep that community can be.

What’s the biggest takeaway from this video about full-time RV travel?

That life is fragile, and you can’t take any day for granted. RV life is amazing, but it’s still real life—with real loss and real emotions. It’s a reminder to be kind, stay connected, and appreciate the people around you.

Do you leave your RV at a campground and travel away from your site often?

We do, depending on where we are and what we’re exploring. In this case, we spent time away from our campground checking out a different area like we often do. It’s part of how we travel and see more while we’re on the road.
