I spent 48 hours in Paris and tried to squeeze in as much as possible while still keeping it real. I took the Eurostar Premium from London (breakfast was meant to be an omelette and mushrooms… it wasn’t that good, can’t lie), checked in, and immediately started exploring. I walked around the Notre-Dame area, tested a smash burger, and had my first proper Paris crêpe (plain with salted caramel—lovely). I also clocked something funny: zebra crossings in Paris feel a bit like Lagos… cars are not stopping like you’d expect in “Europe.” From there I headed up to Montmartre/Sacré-Cœur for the views, saw the whole “Instagram vs reality” thing in real time, and finished the night at the Eiffel Tower when it was dark because that’s the real vibe. Day two was gym-first (On Air—solid gym, five floors, Hammer Strength/Gym80), quick 35-minute pump plus 10 minutes StairMaster to keep my body feeling decent. Then it was shopping (because Paris pressure is real), Louvre time, Le Marais, and more walking than my feet wanted—19k steps by 4pm. Biggest takeaway: solo travel is harder than it looks if you’re trying to film and get pictures, but you can still get it done if you’re willing to ask people for help.
