LIGHTWEIGHT LEATHER FACED MALLET FOR 2 DOLLARS (EASY DIY)

I found this tent peg mallet and not lnowing what it was. I got really excited to find a plastic mallet in the clearance section at Lee Valley. So I picked it up for $2.50 CAD. I wanted one of the faces to be leather to further soften the blow made by the mallet. So I needed to flatten one of the faces before I could use contact cement to fix the leather face to the plastic mallet.
