Hey guys, it’s Drea. In this video I’m finally explaining why I disappeared without warning, because I genuinely felt like I owed you that. If you clicked for drama, you’re going to be disappointed—this is just real life: my job, my mental state, and why I didn’t have it in me to come home and film makeup content for a while. Basically, everything started back at the beginning of quarantine when I got called back to work early, and then we reopened with a ton of new protocols, a massive workload, and only about half the staff returning. One week after reopening, the company announced Additional was closing as a brand, and I was managing a store while knowing I’d be out of a job. I was angry and bitter for a long time—especially because I didn’t take that job to close a store, I took it to build something, and we were getting some of the best results in the country. On top of that, dealing with customers during protocols was exhausting, especially when people took it out on staff. By the end, I realized I needed to take care of myself, and I’m slowly dipping my toe back into YouTube now that I’m done work and figuring out what’s next.
