In this video I’m doing a “hauled it, but how was it?” re-haul, looking back at two makeup hauls from spring 2019 now that I’ve actually had time to use everything. This is why I love filming these—after a year, I can tell you if I used it up, decluttered it, or if it’s still in my everyday rotation. I go through drugstore finds from Walmart and Shoppers, plus a little Bath & Body Works and a bunch of ColourPop. I talk about what I repurchased (like the Coco Shea body oil), what I wouldn’t buy again (hello, certain Wet n Wild highlighters and that Real Techniques brush cleaner), and what surprised me (the Rimmel Stay Matte loose powder is fantastic for oily skin). On the ColourPop side, I share what I still love—like the Super Shock highlighters (Flexitarian is intense, but On The Cusp is my favorite) and why the It’s My Pleasure palette was “angels singing” compared to harder-to-blend formulas.
