About This Video

I was literally about to go to bed, but I had to show you my NEW IRL stream backpack setup because I’ve been messing with it for the past two days and I think I finally got it dialed. The big change is I’m building everything around the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, and the whole goal here is to condense the rig so it fits in a smaller backpack. I took my big grid and chopped it down to two small grids, then Velcro’d them together (like five pieces in between), so it’s basically one super sturdy, super tiny platform now. Power-wise, I’m down to two batteries—two Anker 20,000s. I know one of them will run my modem for about 12 hours, but I haven’t stress tested the Pocket 3 setup yet because this battery has to charge the camera and the encoder at the same time. I’m hoping it holds up, and if not, I’ve still saved a ton of space for a bigger battery later. I’m also keeping the same tripod because this thing rules: sturdy, light, and it just works. I added an Ulanzi aluminum protective cage, set it up with my quick releases, and I even modified my shoulder strap so it doesn’t stick out and it’s way more comfortable. Oh—and I swapped my dangly JBL Clip for a new tiny clip-on speaker that’s loud, and I’m hyped to use it.
