We made a full-on chaotic Christmas comedy special that’s basically “The Santa Clause,” except in my universe it’s called “The Taylor Swift,” and yes, it was performed live, and yes… it gets weird. The whole thing starts like we’re about to have the best Christmas ever, then my ex-wife Big Bertha drops off my son (Diddly Beard) right before the show, and he’s instantly on demon time—eating the BLTs, demanding cheese, trash-talking my pets, and trying to get Taylor to sign his lucky challah bread like it’s a legal document. From there it spirals into a studio tour (dance library, dusty old sets, and a toilet that’s way too smart for its own good), soundcheck chaos, and then the big oops: Taylor Swift gets knocked off the roof. We find the scarf and the card, the Swifties show up in an actual sleigh, and suddenly I’m trapped in an ancient curse called “The Taylor Swift,” where I’m apparently transforming whether I like it or not. It turns into a full chase scene with Swifties throwing friendship bracelets and… other stuff… while my kid burns the wishing stone on a hot dog wish. The takeaway: never schedule a live Christmas special around family drama, and definitely don’t trust a scarf with lore.
