We’re yelling, I’m trying to not lose sight of him, and the game keeps gaslighting me into thinking I’m about to factory reset my entire life. It’s one of those moments where every second is a joke, but you’re also like… wait, am I actually bricking something right now? After we finally deal with Muppy Doom (RIP, dead as hell), the run keeps rolling into the next target: billionaire Larry Pinktock. I’m skating around because the skateboard in this game is actually amazing, and I love how it’s not just “go here on the map” 500 times. We hit the harbor, run into Craig Button’s bounty hunter goons, and then I straight-up have to befriend Travis (yes, Ken Marino—holy hell) by partying, dancing, and doing the dumbest mini-game stuff imaginable just to score an extra cruise ticket. Takeaway: this game is unhinged, packed with secrets, and it rewards you for paying attention… even when I’m getting clowned in real time. Say yo.
