Happy Food + Wine Festival day at Disneyland (well… mostly California Adventure, because that’s where the food is). In this live stream I roll in around 10:30, immediately admit I’m already hungry, and start building the game plan with chat: find the waffle cone taco, the pepperoni pizza slider, the sirloin mac and cheese situation, the ramen mac and cheese, and yes… the infamous cherry coke cold brew (even though people are saying it’s disgusting). The vibe is simple: we’re purposely overdoing it today. Throwing humility away. We’re eating. But this stream is also a full-on IRL gear test day. I’m running my brand new streaming setup with the DJI Pocket Osmo 3, and the face tracking is so good it’s almost unreasonably good—no more weird VOD angles. I take it on the Mark Twain Riverboat to test smooth pans/zooms, then I’m trying to hit darker rides later (Haunted Mansion, maybe Pirates even though the internet dies down there) to see how the low light holds up. We even start a battery wager because I’m watching that drain like a hawk. Say yo—let’s go find the food.
