I went live from Disneyland on one of those weird weather days where it’s freezing at 50 in the morning, then it’s “stupid hot” by the time you’re actually posted up on Main Street. The vibe was super chill: hang out, find some food, hit rides, and (because the title is the title) keep an eye on all the construction happening around the park for new stuff coming in. I also talked a bunch with chat about what I’ve got going on this week—sending out everybody’s mail, figuring out work shifts, and getting back on my feet after randomly getting sick while building the live-action show. We tried to start with Jungle Cruise… and of course it was closed, so we pivoted. Then we got raided by Trucker Dylan, so I did what any responsible Disneyland adult would do: I marched us over to California Adventure to ride the trucks in Cars Land to keep it niche and keep the truck-mentum going. Along the way we talked Lunar New Year food, my acid reflux from too many street chalupas, and my IRL streaming upgrades—because I’m grabbing a new camera setup and I’m trying to level up the whole “Magical Monday” vibe for future park streams.
