This homemade lasagna recipe is rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Made with a savory meat sauce, creamy homemade bechamel, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese, this classic baked lasagna comes out delicious every time. Ingredients 5 ripe tomatoes 1/2 large onion 1/2 green bell pepper 5 garlic cloves 1 tsp cumin Salt to taste Ground beef Olive oil No-boil lasagna pasta Mozzarella cheese Parmesan cheese Oregano Bechamel Sauce 3 cups cold milk 1/2 stick butter 3 tbsp all-purpose flour 1 tsp nutmeg Salt to taste Instructions Blend the tomatoes, onion, green pepper, garlic, cumin, and salt until smooth. In a pan with a little oil, cook the ground beef. Add the blended sauce and cook until the liquid reduces. For the bechamel sauce, melt the butter in a pot. Add the flour and stir well to cook the flour. Slowly add the cold milk one cup at a time while whisking hard to avoid lumps. Add salt and nutmeg. Grate the parmesan cheese and slice the mozzarella cheese. Grease a baking dish with cooking spray. Layer the lasagna starting with meat sauce, no-boil pasta, bechamel sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, and a little oregano. Repeat the layers until finished. Top with parmesan cheese. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour covered with aluminum foil.
