In this video, I show you how I make the best homemade dog treats—super easy, fun to make, and my girls really love them. I use simple ingredients like about 6 oz of chicken broth, 10 oz of chicken, two eggs, and a tablespoon of coconut oil. Then I blend in 1 cup of tapioca flour and 1/2 cup of regular flour, and I’m watching for one thing: the batter should be just a little thicker than pancake batter. If it’s too runny, I just keep adding a bit more tapioca flour until it’s perfect. My favorite part is using the little silicone pyramid baking mats, because the treats come out the perfect small size for training and you don’t have to break anything apart. I spread the mixture into all the little indents, then I bake them (I often use the microwave for about 3 minutes, but you can use the oven too). When they’re done, I flip the mat over a bowl and they just pop right out.
