I put the Switchbot K10+ Pro through its paces over the last month to see how it stacks up against its predecessor. With upgraded suction and navigation features, we're asking the question - Should you upgrade? About This Video

In this video I put the new SwitchBot K10+ Pro through about a month of real-world testing to see what actually changed from the original K10+. At a glance it looks basically identical in size, but there are some legit upgrades: the front of the robot now has a larger docking sensor and SwitchBot swapped the shiny black coupling area for a matte gray finish. The big headline, though, is performance—suction jumps from 2600Pa to 3000Pa (SwitchBot claims about a 20% increase), and in my testing it’s noticeably better at pulling up debris. My favorite upgrade is the new all-rubber brush. If you’ve ever had to cut hair out of a vacuum brush (I have… a lot), you’ll appreciate how much easier this is to maintain—hair slides right off, and with my wife’s long hair that matters. Navigation also improves thanks to the new PSD sensor working alongside the existing LiDAR array; it slows down near walls and does a better job avoiding obstacles, even though it’ll still bump into chairs occasionally. Battery life, dustbin capacity, and the “whisper quiet” mode are basically the same as before, and the mopping is still just a wet wipe on a holder. My take: upgrading is “it depends,” but for new buyers the Pro fixes some key complaints and is a solid buy.
