Returning to Brutal Canadian Winter 😔 Leaving Dominican Republic Paradise for Halifax Canada

This week, we unexpectedly have to fly home to Canada for a funeral. That means quickly packing up what we need from our apartment—including preparing for a few cold days of winter after four years away from it! But since we also plan to return to a different Caribbean country after, we have to pack smart for both climates. We head to the airport in Puerto Plata, flying back to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Once there, we try to survive the winter with almost no proper clothing—but we manage to get ready quickly. While in Halifax, we explore the downtown area, experiencing the cold weather firsthand.
