In this video I unbox and build LEGO Icons Botanical Collection 10340 Wreath & Garland (18+, set 10340, 1,194 pieces). It’s a proper festive display piece and, honestly, it looks good straight out of the box — I was excited already. I run through what you get (nine numbered bags, a big instruction booklet, and yes, a brick separator), plus the fact it’s a 2-in-1 build: you can make either the wreath or the garland. I also point out the handy little Insider tip: scan the QR code in the LEGO Builder app and you can register it and grab 20 points. I build both versions, and I’m not going to sugar-coat it: the garland took many hours and it’s one of the least fun builds I’ve done. It’s repetitive, fiddly, and some of the softer leaf elements make pushing bar pieces through a bit of a pain. That said, the finished look is genuinely lovely — printed orange slices, brilliant berry colour variation (red is my favourite, blue is my least), genius “twine” on the cinnamon sticks, and the pine cones made from minifigure hat pieces are easily the best part usage in the set. I talk size (the garland is about 80cm), awkward handling/storage, adding LED fairy lights for extra cosy vibes, and why I personally wouldn’t pay full price for it — I only grabbed two because I got them basically half price.
