In this video I’m unboxing, building and reviewing LEGO Creator 3-in-1 31083 Cruising Adventures (ages 9–14). It released 1st June 2018, retired 31st Dec 2019, and originally cost £45 here in the UK. Mine was pre-owned from eBay for around retail, and because I didn’t have the numbered bags (they were sorted by colour instead), it made the build a bit more of a fun challenge. I stick to the main model today: the super yacht, plus the little side builds that help sell the whole beach scene. You get a jet ski, a small beach setup (sandcastle, crab, towel tiles, parasol, snacks, and that red can that is totally not Coca‑Cola), and a cooler that I genuinely thought was a bin at first. The three minifigures are a solid mix for a beach scene, with some decent torso printing (a couple of small print nitpicks), dual-moulded legs, and alternate faces. The yacht itself is the star: dark blue, white, and dark tan (one of my favourite colour combos), loads of plate work shaping, great top-deck detailing, and a removable roof for interior access—yes, there’s even a toilet. For £45, I still think it’s good value because it’s a proper display piece and a complete play set, and being a 3-in-1 you’ve got two more builds waiting when you want a change.
