In this video I’m unboxing, building, and reviewing LEGO City 60474: the F1 Grid with VCARB & Sauber race cars. It’s a 6+ set with 313 pieces, and it originally released 1st March 2025 before retiring really quickly on 31st December 2025. I go through what you actually get in the box (three instruction booklets, three numbered paper bags, and a few leftover parts), then I build the whole thing in about half an hour and give you my honest thoughts on the finished display and play value. The big takeaway is: it’s a basic LEGO City F1 set, but it does look good on the shelf. The two cars are very repetitive builds (almost identical, just different colours), and I think the set’s a bit stingy on minifigures—three feels like it’s trying to cover “drivers + official/fan” without really committing, and a small winners podium would’ve completed the scene. I also point out the minimal branding, no extra hair pieces for the drivers, and even a noticeable colour mismatch on the bright green car that really comes down to LEGO quality control. Price-wise, £25 retail (often £20) felt fair to me, and it hasn’t jumped on the aftermarket—so if you’re collecting the LEGO City F1 range, it’s a key one to grab while it’s still easy to find.
