About This Video

In this video I’m unboxing, building, and reviewing LEGO Botanicals 10349 Happy Plants (217 pieces, Age 9+, released 1st June 2025). Inside the box, each plant comes in its own bags with its own instruction booklet, so you can actually build it with a friend. That’s exactly what I did—built them outdoors (which was lovely), then came back to the studio to go over the finished models, the leftover parts, and a couple of little “real life” mishaps… including a bit of actual dirt that’s now stuck to one piece, making my plant a bit more realistic. The builds are quick and straightforward—about 15 minutes each—and honestly I think a younger builder could handle these just fine. There are no stickers, and the faces are printed, which I always appreciate. I like the little details like the roots element and the brown “soil” inside the pots, plus the fact you can swap the plants around and even pose the blue one’s legs to sit on a shelf edge. My main gripe is how loose the plants sit in the pots (I’d have preferred at least a stud connection), and the big disappointment: the instructions tease “hold hands,” but they can’t actually do it—there’s a tiny gap. I did find a fan-made fix on Rebrickable and I’ll probably do that mod. Overall it’s a cute gift/display set, but I wouldn’t pay £17.99—around £14 feels much more worth it, and it’s often discounted.
