In this video I’m unboxing and reviewing LEGO 40778 Winter Gazebo, a festive little 12+ promo set from December 2025 (gift with purchase, not general sale) with 245 pieces. I show you the box front and back, what you actually get inside (three numbered bags, one small instruction booklet), and I confirm there are no stickers. If you like the nitty-gritty, it’s 45 steps across 52 pages, and it took me about 20 minutes to put together. Once it’s built, I go through the three minifigures in their festive outfits—my favourite detail is that newer-style Christmas jumper torso in dark green that LEGO fans are loving right now (we’ve seen it in advent calendars, so I’m glad it’s continuing). Then I give you my honest take on the gazebo itself: it’s charming, the dark green and red colour scheme feels nicely retro, and the roof/angles use some satisfying hinge techniques. My main critique is it feels a bit plain around the edges and a little “incomplete” without a small side build like a lamp post or bench, plus interior access is awkward because the entry is blocked by presents and you can’t just pop the roof off easily. Finally, I add it into my Winter Village alongside the other GWP from this year (the coffee cup) to show how well it displays.
