In this Christmas haul video I’m showing you all the LEGO I was lucky enough to get this year, and honestly… it’s a proper good mix. I kick things off with a small little paper bag Santa going down the chimney (it was a gift with purchase when my dad picked some LEGO up for me), and I’m already thinking it’ll probably end up as a handy little parts pack for the city. Then I’ve got the LEGO Creator London Bus, which looks really iconic on display—and I’m pretty sure it’s retiring, so I’m glad I’ve got it in the collection. After that I get into a couple of sets I’m genuinely excited to build: the Botanical Bonsai Tree (I had one years ago but had to sell it, so this is a return) and the Happy Plants, which are just as cute and cheerful as they sound. I also picked up something a bit different with the brick-built Minecraft Creeper, even though I haven’t played the game in about 10 years. Then we get to the big hitters: the new WALL·E set (with EVE and MO included—brilliant, such a complete set) and, last but not least, the LEGO Game Boy, which for me is one of the best sets of the year, if not ever.
