I picked everything up from Argos at at least 20% off, then stacked a few Nectar points on top and even got cashback for ordering online. If you’re buying as much LEGO as I do, those loyalty schemes genuinely add up, so it’s well worth signing up and being a bit savvy with where you shop. I run through each set and give you my first thoughts on value, pricing, and what I’m planning to do with them. There’s my first ever LEGO Sonic set (77117) mainly because I wanted the minifigure and a bit of nostalgia, plus a LEGO City Fries Food Truck that’s right in line with the yearly food truck trend — and I’ve already got ideas for mods. I also grabbed a Speed Champions Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale because those builds are always super enjoyable and clever technique-wise. Then I get a bit critical with LEGO City pricing: the LEGO van and the car vs plane set both feel pricey for what you get, especially compared to Speed Champions.
