About This Video

This video is basically me releasing my last little memories from Japan—because I took my dad (papao) on our first ever father-daughter trip, just us, to a hidden ryokan near Fukuoka. It was extra special because it’s such a rare opportunity now that I’m older and married, and it was also his first time visiting Japan purely for leisure (not work). The journey there is
a journey (bus + express railway), but I documented it all so if you want to come in the future, you don’t struggle as much as I did. We stayed at Sanso Tensui for 3 days, and the whole vibe is tranquil, surrounded by nature, with the cutest details everywhere—gift shop, foot bath area, and five different baths you can reserve (including a fully private one). I show you a room tour, how the in-room kaiseki dinners went (two-hour meals, so many itty bitty seasonal dishes, and yes
the rice always comes at the end), and my honest reactions to everything. The biggest takeaway: the staff made the entire experience. They were so thoughtful—down to helping us get direct rail tickets back—so it truly felt like a retreat from city life.
