About This Video

The vlog starts now—and yes, Paris decided to be gloomy and rainy on our Disneyland Paris day. I took you with me from a super packed bakery (no seating, felt rushed ordering, but we made it work) all the way to the park. Even with the rain, it was still popping, and we did a few rides (Space Mountain honestly felt longer than the LA one) and wandered through Discoveryland and Fantasyland. We also tried to figure out food on the fly—turns out if you want the Ratatouille restaurant, you basically need to book two months in advance (we definitely did not do that). Then came the devastating part: the whole reason we came was because Tommy really wanted Ratatouille (his favorite movie), but I didn’t research enough and we only bought the one-park ticket. Ratatouille is in Walt Disney Studios Park, so we couldn’t even go take photos unless we upgraded—and that upgrade wasn’t guaranteed. After a rainy day and a really amazing dinner, I wrapped up our last night in the Airbnb packing up, because we moved to a hotel the next day. From there, it turned into a classic Paris shopping day—Arc de Triomphe (I can never say it right), Champs-ÉlysĂ©es area, random hunger stops (yes, we ended up in a British pub), and a cute L’Occitane + Pierre HermĂ© cafĂ© moment. I finished the night with the hotel’s dry sauna because your girl does not do well in the cold—such a treat.
