This vlog is basically my first week alone in Seoul, and I’m finally going out and about solo—walking, cafe hopping, and just letting the days unfold (because honestly, nothing went exactly the way I planned). I start with a little DDP Plaza moment because it’s one of Seoul’s landmarks and it’s so visually attractive and aesthetic—especially on a Sunday when you see a lot of tourists and foreigners. I also try one of those super popular Korean desserts that’s been trending this year (it was sooo sweet), and I share a little peek of what a Korean elementary school looks like on my walk. I also had a super productive self-care/admin day: I worked at a coffee shop for a few hours, then got my nails done and a natural lash perm—everything for under $50, which is honestly crazy. Another day is packed with wedding photo selection (Tommy wasn’t there, so I had my USB and had to choose the edits), then a haircut appointment where I got bangs and a nice trim, and dinner plans. In between, I’m grabbing an almond cream latte (the most popular one—unexpectedly so good), meeting a friend for lunch (including shabu shabu with raw chicken… yes, an experience), and ending with cute themed cafe desserts and classic comfort food like spicy tteokbokki and banana milk.
