About This Video

This vlog is basically my dream scenario if you’re a foodie: a month alone in Korea, and I’m just eating my way through Seoul. I start super casual with my first meal of the day—ramen cooked on one of those Korean “ramen machines” (and yes, I learned the hard way that you need the right kind of ramen for it to work). From there, it’s straight into cafe-hopping, including one of the hottest coffee shops right now that’s randomly tucked into a super traditional neighborhood. I got an espresso with sweet condensed milk, plus churros on the side, and the cutest little details on the order (even the espresso shot had a logo situation going on). I also show a few really practical solo travel things—like using subway station lockers to store luggage for the day (it was under $4 for me), which is honestly a lifesaver when Seoul is packed. Food-wise, I’m hitting spicy tteokbokki street stalls, giant “wang” dumplings (beef + kimchi), sweet corn for like a dollar, and a department store food court dinner moment (I grabbed a discounted chirashi bowl and microwavable rice because I realized I had zero plans and zero food at home). And yes, I waited in line for trendy salt bread—and it was fresh, warm, buttery, croissant-adjacent, and worth it.
