In this video I’m taking you along for part two of my April market weekend with my small business, Dashmal — where I sell baby essentials. I’m getting everything prepped, packed and then showing you the full set up at the Ballarat Baby and Goods Market (Doug Dean Reserve in Ballarat). It’s very much the real behind-the-scenes: what I bring, how I lay the stall out, and what it actually looks like once customers start coming through. I also share my honest thoughts on markets in general — I genuinely would love to do more because it’s such a good way to get in front of people, chat face-to-face and see what they’re drawn to. But I’m not going to sugar-coat it… they’re a lot of work and they absolutely take up your weekend.
