Welcome to Craxoid. In today's video, I will demonstrate what a Swift Backup app is. I will provide comprehensive information about this app, which is widely regarded as the best backup and restore application. It efficiently backs up apps along with their data, eliminating the need to log in again after restoring a specific app. During this video, I will back up several apps along with their data. Next, I will install a new ROM on the same device and attempt to restore these apps on the freshly installed ROM. This will give you a complete understanding of how the Swift Backup app works. So watch this video till the end. #swiftbackup #swiftbackupandrestore #swiftbackupapp Swift Backup App link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.swiftapps.swiftbackup

About This Video

In this video, I tested Swift Backup with a proper real-world experiment—because a lot of people rely on it for backup and restore, especially when they keep flashing custom ROMs. Just like my previous data-backup experiment, my goal was simple: check if Swift Backup can restore apps along with their data even after switching to a new ROM. Keep in mind, Swift Backup needs root access, so I granted superuser permission and then backed up multiple apps with their data from the Apps section. After that, I also tried extra stuff Swift Backup offers—like backing up messages, call logs, wallpapers, and especially Wi‑Fi networks (this Wi‑Fi backup wasn’t available in the other app I tested earlier). Then I installed Arrow OS (Android 13), rooted the phone again with Magisk, and started restoring everything on the fresh ROM. The restore finished quickly, and even the Wi‑Fi networks came back, reconnecting after a short moment. Finally, I verified the restored apps by opening WhatsApp, Telegram, and Facebook. WhatsApp opened without phone number/OTP, Telegram opened without login (only asked notification permission), and Facebook opened without needing ID/password. My conclusion: Swift Backup works flawlessly for backing up and restoring apps + data even after changing custom ROMs. Just remember—if you format your phone, store the backup folder on microSD/secondary storage and put it back in the same internal path before restoring.
