In this video I’m doing something different on Concept Creator: I’m talking cars, and specifically the Volvo EX90 (not the XC90). Volvo has always been one of my favorite brands because they nail the stuff I actually care about—safety is still top priority for them—and on paper the EX90 has some strong EV specs too. It’s on the SPA2 platform, it’s fully electric, and Volvo is quoting 373 miles (about 600 km) of range. Personally, I care even more about charging speed and long-term battery longevity than the headline range number. Where I really start to rant is the interior design direction. Volvo interiors usually feel integrated and expensive, like everything belongs together—but the EX90’s 14.5-inch screen looks like it’s just slapped on (Tesla-style), and I’m not a fan. Same with the small square driver display behind the steering wheel: to me it looks cheap, not “minimalistic.” On the outside though, there are things I genuinely like—especially the animated front lights. Volvo’s Thor hammer signature is already cool, and this new animation looks amazing and well integrated. The rear design I’m still unsure about, but overall the exterior is solid, with a few elements I still prefer on current Volvos.
