In this video I’m talking about the iQOO 15 after using it for about a month or two, and honestly—I’m actually impressed. iQOO is basically Vivo’s performance-focused subbrand, so the whole point here is price-to-performance, not chasing the absolute best camera. And on paper it’s stacked: a 6.85-inch AMOLED with up to 6,000 nits peak brightness and a 144Hz refresh rate, a massive 7,000mAh battery, 100W wired plus 40W wireless charging, and storage options from 256GB UFS 4.1 up to 1TB with 12–16GB RAM. My unit is the 16GB version, and it’s running the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. I did my usual 3DMark stress-style testing and the stability isn’t perfect, but in real games like PUBG and Call of Duty it’s simply been good. It does get a bit toastier in longer sessions—this chipset can run hot—but not to the point where it bothered me. OriginOS 6 has also been solid and smooth for me, and I’m pretty easy to please as long as there aren’t major bugs (and as long as I’m not forced into a terrible photo overview like Google Photos). I also quickly cover the cameras: triple 50MP setup including a periscope, plus 8K30/4K60 video. It’s not trying to beat Vivo’s camera flagships, but it’s no slouch—especially for the €750–€850 range. Overall, it’s a really compelling package if you care about value and performance first.
