the Oneplus 13 isn't global yet, but because of buying it via tradingShenZhen I could test it earlier, so do keep in mind there might be some changes when it's released globally! About This Video

In this video I’m going over my real-world experience with the OnePlus 13, and honestly it’s a phone with some very clear choices—some of them great, and some of them… I genuinely don’t understand. I’m testing the Chinese version early (I bought it via TradingShenzhen), so keep in mind things could still change with the global launch. But based on what I’ve used so far, the basics are strong: a 6.82-inch 1440p 120Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Elite, up to 24GB RAM, and a big 6,000mAh battery. The positives are easy: OnePlus software is still a clean, buttery smooth experience for me, and I love having a proper gallery app because I genuinely hate Google Photos. Battery life is a big upgrade—I can easily get through a full day of photos and video—and the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is a huge step up in reliability versus optical. Camera-wise, I see improvements in processing (especially in Master mode), and the ultrawide holds detail better in low light compared to the OnePlus 12. But there are two big negatives for me: the design looks plain compared to the OnePlus 12 (especially that green one), and the telephoto’s minimum focus distance is 50cm—which ruins the kind of close-up flower shots I love taking. So yes, I can recommend it overall, but if you’re on a OnePlus 12, I’d only even consider upgrading for battery life.
