Prawn Cocktail Recipe - The King of Starters Plump juicy prawns/shrimp in a tangy prawn cocktail sauce / marie rose sauce. One of the iconic starters from the 1970’s and 80’s, I can remember this being really popular in my Grandad’s restaurant. It’s fallen out of favour in recent years but I think it’s wonderful and the perfect starter for Christmas lunch.
