Chinese Beef and Pineapple Recipe using fresh pineapple This Chinese restaurant and takeout recipe is another one of those comfort foods from my childhood. The texture and flavour of the meaty beef is in perfect contrast to the sweetness and sharpness of the pineapple and the rich sauce, that is gently flavoured with a hint of garlic and ginger. In this video I’ll show you how to prepare fresh pineapple rather than tinned - and it makes all the difference. And how to tenderise the beef to make it melt in your mouth.
