So many of you asked for Char Char’s nighttime routine, so I filmed exactly what we do before bed. First, I brush out Charlie’s hair, and I always remove his collar first. When his hair gets longer, it can start to mat underneath the collar, so taking it off helps me get his full body and keep him comfy. Next up, I brush Charlie’s teeth using dental finger wipes. He really doesn’t like getting his teeth brushed, but I want him to keep all his teeth for the rest of his life, so we do it anyway. After that, I clean his tear staining—his is pretty bad, so I use my usual product and brush, plus an extra vet-prescribed wipe step. Then his collar goes back on, we snuggle for a few minutes, and I tell him he did a great job. Last, I give him a really yummy bedtime treat, and after a few minutes of chewing, he’s officially ready for sleep.
